Dr Stephanie Gallard: GPwER
Dr Stephanie Gallard qualified as a pharmacist in 1991, and a doctor in 1996. She became a GP in 2003, and after several years as a salaried GP moved into medical management in 2008. Following several deputy medical director roles, she is currently the Medical Lead for Integrated Urgent Care with UC24.
Her strong interest in dermatology began as an SHO in 2002. She obtained the Cardiff Diploma in Practical Dermatology shortly afterwards. She has worked for the Liverpool Dermatology Integrated Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service since its inception in 2007 as a GP with Extended Role in Dermatology. She is an enthusiastic educator on dermatology in primary care, and lectures from an extensive programme of dermatology topics to GPs, pharmacists, nurses and students. She enjoys gardening.
